The GIS Expert – Remote Sensing & Photogrammetry (Lead) will be responsible for managing
end-to-end production workflows, leading a multi-disciplinary geospatial team, ensuring on-time
delivery of engineering-grade GIS and photogrammetry outputs, and providing technical support to
internal process owners across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities (KRA)
– Lead and supervise complete GIS, remote sensing, and photogrammetry production workflows—from data reception to final delivery.
– Manage project planning, resource allocation, task delegation, and monitoring of day-to-day production activities.
– Provide technical guidance to Drone Data Team, CAD Team, LiDAR Team, QC Team, and other process in-charges.
– Ensure adherence to delivery timelines, production quality standards, and client specifications.
– Oversee processing of high-resolution satellite imagery, aerial photogrammetry datasets, UAS datasets, and orthomosaics.
– Lead DEM/DSM generation, feature extraction, classification, 3D mapping, large-scale urban mapping, and thematic mapping workflows.
– Prepare detailed technical documentation, SOPs, workflow notes, and process improvement reports.
– Coordinate with project managers, clients, and internal departments for technical clarifications and delivery approvals.
– Mentor and train junior GIS and photogrammetry analysts to improve production efficiency.

– On-time delivery of GIS and photogrammetry outputs across all assigned projects.
– Accuracy and quality score of processed GIS/RS/photogrammetry data.
– Efficiency in resource and workflow management across teams.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies
– Strong command over photogrammetry workflows including aerial triangulation, GCP integration, and orthomosaic generation.
– Expertise in GIS-based mapping: digitization, topology, geodatabase management, network mapping, spatial analytics.
– Hands-on experience with DEM/DSM, contours, change detection, land use mapping, and feature extraction.
– Proficiency in industry software: ArcGIS, QGIS, Global Mapper, ERDAS Imagine, Agisoft Metashape, PIX4D, MicroStation, AutoCAD.
– Understanding of drone/UAV data processing, RTK/PPK workflows, and aerial survey methodologies.
– Ability to lead teams, handle multiple projects, and manage production under deadlines.
Educational Qualifications
– B.Tech / M.Tech in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, GIS, Civil Engineering, Geography, or related field.
– Certifications in GIS, photogrammetry, UAV data processing, or remote sensing (preferred).
